One of the largest and most valuable coastal fisheries. Well loved by Kiwis throughout New Zealand. Snapper has low oil content. It's great poached, pan fried, baked and BBQ. Makes a brilliant whole cooked fish. It's mild flavour allows for it to be marinated beautifully.
