Delivery Timing & Detail
Your seafood will be prepared, packed and delivered to your door. Our courier services operated on an ATL (Authority to Leave) system. If you are not home it will be left on the front doorstep or at the nearest, safest location unless deemed unsafe to do so.
Our courier services are provided by Fastway Couriers and New Zealand Couriers which operate Tuesday to Saturday (Saturday delivery depending on your location).
Please be aware we do not process orders on Saturday or Sunday.
Any quality issues must be reported on the day of delivery to validate claims. We will require photographic evidence.
If you are seeking a refund please do not dispose of the product until you have confirmation from a customer sales representative doing so could void any claim.
Please do note, occasionally adverse weather conditions will affect the operations of our courier services or inter island air freight. Delivery times quoted are subject to third party acts such as courier delays and weather.
Your seafood will be packed into a secure polystyrene container with gel ice packs to ensure the contents remain at a cool temperature and fresh.
The same process is followed for frozen goods with great success however Takitimu Seafoods does not guarantee that it will remain frozen, if goods still have ice crystals these are safe to refreeze if not please refrigerate and consume within 3 Days
All Takitimu Seafoods fish is freshly caught and hand processed. The product is then controlled throughout the entire process to ensure it remains fresh and safe to eat.
Takitimu Seafoods runs an approved RMP plan audited by the New Zealand Safety Authority
